Our Soft Opening and Chair Fundraiser event sold out in just 3 days!!!

There is quite the excitement and buzz around this coming Saturday night and its sure to be a big night of fundraising that will go directly back into the WFC to assist with doing and/or completing projects within the building.

On the verandah overlooking the Magpies Nest and Waikerie Memorial Oval and up towards the Waikerie township there are forty (40) seats that will be auctioned off in our Chair Fundraiser.

A LIVE auction will be held on the night of 15.2.25 at our Sold Out Soft Opening event, these seats will be settled on the night.

A HYBRID auction will kick off on the night of 15.2.25 with bidding sheets and then move online giving everyone an opportunity to place a bid even if they didn’t secure a ticket for the Soft Opening event.

The Chair fundraiser is a way to raise funds to complete and/or do projects within the building.

All seats will be numbered-if you have a particular number that is close to your heart for any particular reason-whether it be of a loved one who has passed, the number you wore in your only premiership that you ever played in, or for any other reason-please reach out to Ben Venning 0407618965, who can place a “proxy bid” on your behalf and/or have you on speed dial if that number comes up in the LIVE auction on the night.

All successful seat bidders will have a plaque fitted with their seat. A successful bid does not “reserve” your seat on match day or at events-but will for the lifetime of the seats put your name/family name/business name to the new building as a contributor to the Chair Fundraiser for many years to come.
