🖤The jnrs Maggie’s took a while to wake up, but finally found their feet and kept Berri scoreless in the 4th to come away with a 2 point win and now perched on top of the ladder as we head into the last round!
🤍 a big 2nd quarter effort set the 15s up for a 14 point win, with their 3 captains leading from the front and named in the best.
🖤the 18s were firing and kicked the first 3 of the game thru fridd 2, price 1 and had the lead at the first but then struggled to score for the remainder of the game.
🤍an under manned B grade side with 2 less on the field were up against it and they scored just a single point late in the game.
🖤the Dees lead at every change and got out to a 21 point lead in the 4th but the Maggie’s dug deep and clawed their way back! Spencely kicked a goal late in time on which in the end secured the A’s a 3 point and a memorable win for Luke Extons 100th A grade game. Unfortunately another week and another knee injury this week to Cooper Mackereth and we wish him all the best.
